Saints goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski spoke to his club's official website ahead of his side's League One match at home to Carlisle tomorrow, Bialkowski twiddling his thumbs at the moment as second choice to Kelvin Davis between the Southampton sticks :

"Football is a crazy game. Anything can happen, and I believe my chance will come. In goalkeeping terms I'm still young, a bit of a baby, in fact. I'm still learning and I'm a better player than when I first arrived here. When the call comes to go back in the first team, I'll be more ready than I've ever been. I still believe that my time will come and that I will become a regular here at Southampton.

"I've had to bide my time because Kelvin Davis has been brilliant. He's also club captain and I know I must wait behind such a man. But it has not been a waste of time. I've learned so much from Kelvin and the other goalkeeping coaches here since I arrived. I don't play many competitive games now so I train extra hard to stay sharp, although there's nothing like games to keep you really sharp."

In team news for Southampton tomorrow, they will be missing two players through injury. The first of those being winger Lee Holmes who is out for the season after undergoing ankle surgery on an injury in early December, while creative midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is still on the Saints sidelines with a minor calf problem.

The home side will be also be without three players who haven't been involved in their matchday squad recently, with the trio going out on loan this week. Midfielder Anthony Pulis going to League Two Barnet to the end of the season, while fellow midfielder Harlee Dean and striker Tony Garrod have both joined Blue Square Bet South outfit Bishop's Stortford for a month.

The referee for tomorrow's match is Rob Lewis from Shrewsbury in Shropshire and he will be assisted down the lines by two Devonians in Andrew Bennett from Hatherleigh and Brett Huxtable from Torrington. Meanwhile the fourth official is Andy Davies from Southampton.
