Scott CuthbertOrient centre-half Scott Cuthbert spoke to the Ilford Recorder ahead of his side's League One match against Carlisle at Brunton Park tomorrow afternoon, Scottish-born Cuthbert hoping the O's continue their recent good run of form :

“It’s four wins out of five now. We took three points from our first 10 games, which was relegation form. So to get back in the league the way we have, with the amount of points we have gathered up and the run we have been on, is tremendous. We need to keep on looking at the next game and Carlisle on Saturday are just outside the play-offs. It’s going to be tough up there, but after the result at Stevenage we will be going there with a lot of confidence.

“We go into every game looking to win it and that’s not going to change. Carlisle are a good team, we know that from when we played them at home, but we will go there looking for three points, that’s our aim. It’s a hard place to go and they play good football as well - and I know a few of the boys, I have got all the tickets. I have got about 25 people coming. That full away stand will be my family and friends.”

In team news for the visitors they will definitely be missing two players, while they also have doubts over two others. The pair of confirmed absentees first being centre-half Ben Chorley and goalkeeper Jamie Jones, Chorley serving the opening game of a three match ban after being sent off in Orient’s 1-0 win at Stevenage on Monday, while Jones has been out all season due to shoulder surgery. Meanwhile the duo who might be part of the O’s matchday squad are slight knock sufferers Jimmy Smith and Jonathan Tehoue, with attacking midfielder Smith more than likely and striker Tehoue less than likely to be on show at Brunton Park.

The referee for tomorrow's match is Chris Sarginson from Rugeley in Staffordshire and he will be assisted down the lines by Ross Joyce from Middlesbrough and Iain Siddall from Bolton. Meanwhile the fourth official is Barry Gordon from Chester-le-Street.
