Robins defender Brendan Moloney spoke to his club's official website ahead of his side's League One game against Carlisle at Brunton Park tomorrow afternoon, Moloney looking for three points after 21 league games without a victory for City:

“We have come really close to winning in the last few league games and we have performed really well. We have conceded late goals which is very disappointing, but we can take a lot of positives out of the last few games. We go into a long trip away at Carlisle and hopefully we can get the first win there.

“We have come close to keeping clean sheets, we have been working really hard at it as a whole team. As a back five you really take pride in keeping a clean sheet, and we have obviously haven’t done that yet this season, which is very frustrating for us. But, we are working really hard on it and I don’t think it is too far away.

“We have got a few DVDs for the bus because it is going to be a long one, it is going to be the longest one of the season. But, if we go there and pick up three points then I don’t think there will be too many complaints about it. We know the fans are disappointed with the results as well but they are sticking behind us, which is great. So, for over 200 fans to be travelling to Carlisle, which is a long, long journey, is brilliant.”

In team news for the Robins tomorrow afternoon they will be missing three players through injury in central midfielder Liam Kelly (knee), Derby-loanee full-back James O’Connor (thigh) and central midfielder Stephen Pearson (ankle surgery).

On the more positive side of things for City, midfielder Scott Wagstaff looks likely to have shaken off a foot injury picked up in Tuesday’s 2-1 home defeat against Brentford, while centre-half Aden Flint returns to action after seeing out a one-match ban in that game. Finally the Ashton Gate club today signed 19-year old Cardiff City goalkeeper Dave Richards on an initial loan deal which will become permanent on New Year’s Day.

The referee for tomorrow's match is Scott Duncan from Newcastle and he will be assisted down the lines by Barry Gordon from Chester-le-Street and Danny Markham from Washington, Tyne and Wear. Meanwhile the fourth official is Barry Cropp from Lytham St. Annes.
