Brentford midfielder Adam Forshaw spoke to gestwestlondon ahead of his side’s League One match against Carlisle at Brunton Park tomorrow afternoon, Forshaw first looking back on the Bees losing 3-0 at home to Wolves last Saturday:

“We were passing the ball around well at times and the score didn't reflect the game at all, but from 1-0 we were chasing the game. It's just a blip though. This was just one game, now we have to focus on the next one. We've gone 19 games unbeaten and had that winning mentality going, and now we have to regroup and go on another run. The continuity has helped. The run started under Uwe Rosler, and Mark Warburton came in and adding a little bit. Mark knew all the players anyway as he helped bring most of us in.”

Meanwhile striker Will Grigg told getwestlondon:

“It’s has been frustrating not playing. The team has been doing well, so I can’t really argue. It’s nice to come off the bench, but I want to be starting games. It’s difficult to get into the flow when you come on. When you train hard all week then don’t play, it’s difficult. The last two games I played up top I felt I did well. I haven’t become a bad striker overnight. I’ve been training well, I’m confident and keep believing. If I get a run of games, I think I will always score goals. As for the team, of course we were disappointed at the weekend, but it was our first loss in 20. Hopefully we’ll learn from our mistakes. There are 15 games left and we need to carry on doing things right.”

In team news for the Bees tomorrow they have just one definite absentee in Sam Saunders, the winger having undergone a knee operation last week. Brentford also have a few unnamed players with knocks at the moment, but they are all expected to be fit, but boss Mark Warburton is able to call on striker Marcello Trotta who has delayed linking up with the Italy under-21 side by 24 hours ahead of their game in Lurgan against Northern Ireland this coming Wednesday. Elsewhere at Griffin Park meanwhile, 21-year old left-sided defender Aaron Pierre has today joined League Two side Wycombe Wanderers on loan for a month.

The referee for tomorrow's match is Michael Naylor from Sheffield and he will be assisted down the lines by Tom Nield from Holmfirth in West Yorkshire and Bob Roberts from Leyland, near Preston. Meanwhile the fourth official is Danny Markham from Washington over in the north-east.
