Bees boss Uwe Rosler spoke to his club's official website ahead of his side's League One match against Carlisle at Griffin Park tomorrow afternoon, Rosler bemoaning a few recent injury problems for Brentford:

“In terms of results it has been a good week, but in terms of injuries it has been a bad week. Three months with only one or two injuries but now in one week we have lost four players. We were looking for some loan deals and we made plenty of phone calls but there is nothing concrete. We only have 14 fit players so there will be definitely some development players on the bench, so we will see how they do.

“I think the Carlisle game is crucial but I think the players are also confident in the way we play away from home. There is nothing much wrong there but the results aren’t reflecting the performances, but I think the confidence has always been there. In terms of performances I think this year we will be better against the better teams. But, in terms of stress on the squad I have question marks, with only 14 players we will not get through it, so we will have to add, there is no question.

“In terms of our quality and the way we will perform I have no doubt because we will raise our standard and our performance level like we did against Portsmouth and against all the big guns. We have to take every game as a cup final, we have to have that mentality of going into the games with the right mindset. I also think about the way you prepare mentally for the games, that is the key to winning games. The quality is there, we have talked about it many, many times, it is about the mindset and even with all the injuries we still have a very, very strong team and a good bench.

“There are no excuses whatsoever for not going out there and giving it our best to win the game. Everybody can see we are closing down on the top teams and with a game against Carlisle it will be a very difficult one. They have a very strong midfield, they play on the counter-attack, we will have the ball a lot so it is important how we use it and how we are organised when we are attacking. Obviously, in terms of tempo, aggression and willingness to attack it would be fantastic to have a full house to really give us the extra three or four per cent that is needed to win the game."

In team news for the Bees tomorrow they have four players missing through injury. Firstly captain and right-back Kevin O’Connor looks to be out long term with an ankle injury, while striker Farid El Alagui has also been sidelined recently with a knee problem. Meanwhile Norwich-loanee midfielder Tom Adeyemi is absent with a hamstring strain, and finally centre-half Leon Legge will have to sit the game out with a groin injury.

The referee for tomorrow's match is Andy Davies from Southampton and he will be assisted down the lines by two men from Harlow in Essex in Wade Norcott and David Margetts. Meanwhile the fourth official is Darren Blunden from Dartford in Kent.
