Miles AddisonDerby-loanee centre-half Miles Addison spoke to the official Bournemouth website ahead of his side's League One game against Carlisle at the Seward Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Addison wanting to put last weekend's 3-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday behind the Cherries :

“Everyone is looking to put the result behind us from Saturday, we have got Saturday-Tuesday games coming up so it will be good to just keep getting out on the pitch and try to string some results together. I thought last week for ten minutes we bottled it I would say, for the first ten minutes we didn’t know what was happening, everyone looked round and no-one really had an answer.

“Then after that I thought we put a decent performance in, if you look at the chances we created, we created great chances again and we should have at least got on the scoresheet. I think eventually things have got to turn, things have got to start happening, we can’t keep playing well and not scoring and losing games, eventually somewhere along the line it is going to turn.

“I think once we get one win they will keep rolling off, I think we just need someone to score a goal to be honest to give the fans at home something to cheer about. But, Carlisle are doing well, they are around us, they are going for the play-offs like we were, I think it is just the perfect time to try to get three points.

“For myself I have been reasonably pleased with my performance, just disappointed with the results, I think there is still a bit more to come from me and hopefully with positive results my performances will increase as well. I am feeling quite strong, the Saturday-Tuesday games will be the ultimate test I think. I have had a game and then a couple of days to recover and then a week, so I think the Saturday-Tuesday will be my fitness at my real peak.

“Steve Cook is really composed alongside me, he is still quite a young lad, I forget how young he is, and I think he is just different to Zubes (Stephane Zubar), he is a bit more composed and a bit more cultured shall we say at centre-half, whereas Stephane is a bit more physical and he is a bit more like me."

Meanwhile Cherries boss Lee Bradbury told his club's official website :

"Carlisle have had a really good season, and we need to be beating teams who are in their position because we want to finish as high as we can. We had a meeting on Sunday, we went through and analysed the game last week and had a good chat and it was a very positive meeting. All the lads want to go out and prove that they can play well for 90 minutes and get what we deserve."

In team news for the Cherries tomorrow they will be missing a hefty seven players through injury for the game. Striker Matt Tubbs probably the biggest name sidelined with the January transfer window signing having missed training all week with a groin injury, while skipper Adam Barrett is also absent, Barrett still on the comeback trail from a hamstring pull as he played for Bournemouth’s reserves in a 1-1 draw with Forest Green on Tuesday. Midfielder Joe Partington in the same boat as Barrett in that game meanwhile after ankle and hip problems have plagued him for the best part of a year.

Also watching from the stands on Saturday will be former assistant manager Steve Fletcher, goalkeeper Shwan Jalal, striker Charlie Sheringham and versatile defender Stephen Purches. Veteran striker Fletcher absent with a thigh strain, with Jalal having been out since January after undergoing a back operation, while Sheringham, the son of Teddy, will miss the rest of the season after breaking a bone in his foot in a 1-1 draw at Brentford on Boxing Day. Purches finally looking likely to be back in action at some point next season after breaking both the tibia and fibula in his right leg in Bournemouth’s 1-0 defeat at Rochdale a month ago.

On the credit side of things for Cherries boss Lee Bradbury though he should have midfielders Harry Arter and Marc Pugh available to play. Central player Arter, a Carlisle-loanee last season, having missed Bournemouth’s 3-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday with a minor back injury following a car crash, while winger Pugh has been back in training this week after picking up a strained ligament in his right ankle three weeks ago. The final bit of news at the Seward Stadium this week meanwhile being that 20-year old goalkeeper Dan Thomas has signed for Blue Square Bet South side Havant & Waterlooville having been released by the Cherries on Thursday.

The referee for tomorrow's match is Phil Gibbs from Birmingham and he will be assisted down the lines by Lee Swabey from Plymouth and Michael Webb from Woking in Surrey. Meanwhile the fourth official is Paul Rees from Bristol.
