Leeds boss Simon Grayson spoke to BBC Radio Leeds and his club's official website ahead of his side's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area Final second leg tie against Carlisle at Brunton Park tonight, Grayson hoping his players can turn round a 2-1 defecit from the first game at Elland Road :

" We will look to round the deficit of a goal disadvantage, it is a difficult place to go but we know that we are capable of overturning that. To get to any final at Wembley is a great incentive and we know that if we can get there we would take 40,000 to 50,000. There is a big incentive to the players to try to turn around that deficit. We've come this far in the competition, we're looking for the result we need. We've played Darlington, Grimsby, and Accrington and we've been taking this seriously.

" It is a possibly that the authorities are hoping we can get through because we would like to think it would be a decent payday if we got to the final. But we can't underestimate Carlisle because they are a good team and they produced a decent performance against us in the first leg, but we are capable of reducing the arrears and turning it around. It is not as if we are out of the game and two or three goals down, one goal can be changed around very quickly.

" They have some good players with some good experience. We know what to expect. We've played Carlisle a lot in this division - we've played them a lot since I've been here - and they are obviously a good footballing team. We played well enough to win last weekend and played well against Tottenham and Colchester so we can turn it around. Our players have produced performances at Old Trafford and Tottenham, and under pressure at Elland Road, so they can handle pressure.

" We'll see how the injuries and the knocks are, Becks (Jermaine Beckford) has a tight hamstring, He went for a scan on Monday to see what he's like. Whether Tuesday is too quick we'll see. If he's in any doubt then we won't play him because as much as it's a big incentive for the club to get to the final, we've got other players who can take his place. But he should be alright. We might have one or two others back that weren't involved at the weekend, but we need to make sure because I won't be taking any risks with anyone.

" I don't think the players have had time to think about the play-off win at Carlisle. We don't have time to think about the past because of the way the games keep coming. We had Hartlepool at the weekend, and as soon as that was over we focused on Carlisle. As soon as this is gone, it's on to Leyton Orient. It's such a quick turnaround for players they don't get chance to think about what's happened in the past. "
