New Leeds United boss Simon Grayson talked to BBC Radio Leeds about tomorrow's match against Carlisle at Elland Road, Grayson saying that he is trying to put the smiles back on the faces of his players :

" I think that Carlisle have had up and down season I think so far, a change of manager as well and they will be looking that they can still try to get as high up in the division as possible. We know that it is going to be a difficult game, they always have a good following, we will have a good crowd there. We are just looking, regardless of who we are playing, to try to win the next match and try to build on what we have done so far.

" We need to try to get some sort of momentum going with results and carry that forward until the end of the season. We know that it is a good game, it will be a difficult game for us. If we do the right things and we enjoy our football though, and we have a smile on our face and we work as hard as we can do then there is no reason why we don't win the game.

" Training has been very lively, it has been encouraging that you see that the players have got the bit between their teeth. They are taking on board what we are trying to do and you have sometimes got to hold the reins back and hopefully there is enough energy and passion left in them ready for the weekend. We have tried to make them feel like £1million players again. There are some talented players here. They have been working hard in training but they are back to enjoying themselves as well.

" It's not for me to comment on what they were doing before but I always try to make sure that players are working hard with a smile on their face. I did that for three years at Blackpool and it helped us along the way. If you've got a happy group then it can help you overcome adversity together. Players who enjoy themselves tend to express themselves more, and that gives you a better chance of winning matches. "
