O's manager Martin Ling spoke to Orient's Official Website about the match against United tomorrow afternoon, his side's 4-1 hammering at home to Brighton on Tuesday night and how the injury situation at the Matchroom Stadium is coming along :

"We had nine players in the treatment room after the game on Tuesday and nine players in there yesterday too. The good news is that five of them have come out now. Craig Easton is fit, as is Gary Alexander, Shane Tudor, Adam Tann and Justin Miller. The new signing Ryan Jarvis is added to that and all of a sudden you're up to a 19-man squad so I'm a lot happier coming into the game now than I was on Tuesday night.

"Everyone was obviously feeling a little sorry for themselves after Tuesday's result and the treatment room was too busy for my liking - but that's the part of the job you have to do in this situation. You have to rally everyone up and get everyone going for the Saturday. Looking at today's training, with quite a few of those players out of the treatment room and a new signing there too, it was an awful lot better that on Thursday.

"Six wins from the last 14 games will get us safe. We're more than capable of getting that if you look at the reasons why we were playing well before the last two games. If we win on Saturday, five wins from 13 games sounds even better so we remain positive and with the belief we can get out of the trouble we're in. February is going to be a massively influential month and it's still very, very tight down there. People are going to start saying that after a 5-0 and a 4-1 that they're dead in the water. I don't think we are but we've got to go out there and prove that those statements aren't just hollow words.

"Carlisle are a lot better at home than they are away, but then again we were talking about Brighton's lack of goals before Tuesday, so you can't read too much into that. They have done the best of the promoted teams and they've got a proven goalscorer in (Karl) Hawley. We do know all about them from last year - they haven't changed their personnel that much from last year and we have had them watched for their new components and we're confident of getting a result on Saturday."

As Ling commented the O's are currently coming out of a bit of an injury crisis, Craig Easton, Gary Alexander, Shane Tudor, Adam Tann and Justin Miller are all fit again though and they will be joined in the Orient squad by 20-year old striker Rossi Jarvis who was signed on a one month loan deal from Norwich City on Thursday.

Definitely out of match contention for the home side though are Luke Guttridge (ankle), Efe Echanomi (knee), Michael Simpson (knee) and traditional Carlisle nemesis Jabo Ibehre who misses the game with a hamstring problem. Also watching the match from the stands will be 20-year old centre-half Brian Saah who picked up his fifth booking of the season in the disastrous 4-1 defeat at home to relegation rivals Brighton during the week.

The referee for tomorrow's match is Rob Shoebridge from Ripley in Derbyshire, and he will be assisted down the lines by Michael McCoy from Whistable in Kent and Stephen Tomlinson from Farnham in Hampshire. Meanwhile the fourth official will be Keith Yeo from Aveley in Essex.
