Town manager Lee Clark spoke to BBC Radio Leeds and his club's official website ahead of his side's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area Final second leg match between Carlisle and the Terriers at the Galpharm Stadium this evening, Clark saying that despite being 4-0 down on aggregate Huddersfield will be giving it all they have got to get to Wembley :

"It is a game we are desperate to win, the pressure is all on Carlisle, we're out of the tie at this moment in time at 4-0 down. We have to approach it in the right manner and we have to approach it professionally, because if we don't do the job right, there is no point gung-ho from the first minute because if you do that then you will get picked off and the opposition will score and go and make it even more difficult.

"So, we have to approach it in the right manner, it is probably dissected into three sections of 30 minutes and you see where we are at each of those 30 minutes. If we can get ourselves into the position where we were in the league game last week, 2-0 up at half-time, then we would be delighted, then you maybe might go for it in the second-half all guns blazing.

"But, I am just conscious of the fact that we cannot concede any type of goal, we have got to yes certainly go at Carlisle and try to claw the deficit back. But, as we have shown certainly in a couple of our last league games we are capable of scoring. We scored four at Walsall and four at Exeter so scoring the goals isn't the issue, but we have got to make sure that we do it right all along the pitch.

"It is a funny one because the pressure is all on them really, they are 4-0 up and how do they come and apprpoach the game? Do they play their normal game? Do they sit back? Do they come flying out at us? I don't know what Greg (Abbott) and his staff are going to do. But, all the pressure is heaped on them because they are expected to win and win comfortably and win easily, because the four goal advantage from the first game is huge."

"But, we have to do our gameplan right, it is no good us going straight at it from the first minute in terms of throwing bodies forward and leaving the back door open. Because, if they were to score a goal it kills you even more so. But, I think if we continue with our gameplan that we have used in the last few weeks where we have looked very solid but we have also been able to create chances and score goals then we will give ourselves a very good chance.

"The results from the weekend, such as the Newcastle one, makes my team talk very easy. What happened up at St James Park on Saturday is still fresh in the lads' minds, which gives everyone hope and belief that coming from 4-0 down is possible. We have the opportunity to go to Wembley and we are desperate to go there; we experienced playing at the Emirates a few weeks ago and I believe that Wembley will top that experience. To see the blue and white of the fans all around Wembley would give me a massive buzz.

"During my playing days I have played in some great comebacks, however, I don't think I have been involved in trying to turn around such a big deficit. Greg (Abbott) has already said it - if there is any team in this league that can turn around such a large deficit then it is Huddersfield Town. I believe my players can do it but we have to do it cleverly and not just go out trying to score four goals in the first half.

"Everyone is fine at the moment; Danny Cadamarteri is available and I have one or two choices to make ahead of the game. I have got one or two older men in the squad who have played a lot of games of late and are maybe running on empty. I have to think about Saturday's game against Oldham, which is also a massive game. I will always send out the best team I have available but I am slightly down to the bare bones at the moment; on Saturday I only had one spare player in Leigh Franks."
