Wales under-21 left-back Joe Jacobson spoke to the Bristol Evening Post about the upcoming clash between Rovers and Carlisle at the Memorial Stadium tomorrow, Jacobson suggesting that the Pirates just need a couple of lucky breaks in front of goal to find their scoring touch again :

"The Luton game was probably the best chance we'll ever have to get three points at home, but we failed to do it. We created chances to score goals but kept hitting the woodwork or being denied by their keeper, who pulled off some great saves.

"We should have won it comfortably and it was just so disappointing to come out of it with a point when it should have been three. At least we've got another game in front of our own fans tomorrow and, hopefully, we can give them something to cheer about.

"We have to stick together and make sure we don't get too down about what happened against Luton. There's another game now and that's what we have to focus on. We have to look ahead to facing Carlisle and prepare right for it. It's a totally different game with a different atmosphere - and, hopefully, a different outcome.

"A lot of our best performances have come away from home and we went up there (Carlisle) in confident mood earlier in the season. We scored the goal I thought we deserved and had chances to add to it but didn't take them, which has been the story of our season really.

"But that was a while ago and things have changed - there are different pressures on teams now and we have to go into this game looking for a win. Hopefully, we can get it. Carlisle have been doing well and are up there for a reason, but I think our best performances have come against sides near the top of the league - teams like Nottingham Forest, Leyton Orient and Carlisle.

"We have taken the lead against all those teams and I don't see any reason why we can't do it again tomorrow. We are down the bottom of the table for other reasons rather than poor performances and we know we are good enough to compete at this level. I think it's only a matter of time before we get it right.

"We've got the same players who were scoring regularly last season so we know we have people who can put the ball away. Maybe it's a confidence thing but I feel we just need a couple of lucky breaks, which seem to be evading us at the moment."
