Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond spoke to his club's official website and the Daily Echo about the big match at Brunton Park tomorrow afternoon that could see either or neither set of supporters celebrating at the final whistle :

"The players are all looking forward to the game as we didn't believe it was possible to reach this stage with a mathematical opportunity to stay up. It's an opportunity we really don't want to miss.
We've worked ourselves into the position where we've given ourselves a chance and that is all we've done.

"We haven't done anything; we've just given ourselves a chance of doing something. If we start thinking about what this could be it won't happen.
Regardless of how well we do it's still not in our own hands. We're reliant on others giving a helping hand, but we can only effect what we do.

"We need somebody to do us a favour as well as doing one for ourselves, that's for sure. Everybody has got a job to do and nobody is going to lie down for us. Even if Carlisle had already been home and hosed, it could have been difficult because they could have played relaxed football.

"They might be a bit edgy because they were in second place for quite a while and have now got it to lose. Everybody needs points for their own reasons and I'm sure Sean (O'Driscoll - Doncaster manager) wouldn't mind if he inadvertently did us a favour.

"If we start looking elsewhere we're liable to take our eye off the ball and get beaten ourselves. We're not expecting any favours from anyone so all we can do is help ourselves the best we can and hope for other results to go our way.

"Carlisle have one of the best home records in the country so I don't think we could have picked a much more difficult game. They were disappointed to have been beaten last week and they'll want to put that right in front of their fans with a chance of automatic promotion. "

"This is no small final hurdle for us and I don't think we could have picked a more difficult game. They are still in with a chance of automatic promotion and it is certainly not going to be easy but we are looking forward to it. Carlisle have had a little blip over the past couple of weeks but have still got the best home record in the division. We need to concentrate hard on the things that we've done well over the past few weeks and see where it takes us.

"It will be a difficult game, but football has a funny way of throwing up these situations and it's not always easy to see which side is fighting for promotion and which side is fighting relegation. They have certainly been a bogey side for us since I've been here.

"But we are aware of the position that we have got ourselves into with one game to go and we've just got to concentrate on trying to make the most of it. If we start getting carried away with this and that, and our minds start to wonder, then that could make things difficult.

"It's been a really difficult time for us and it's been brilliant how the players have remained focused. We had a few days together for the away matches at Leeds and Oldham and it was deflating to lose both games. Coming back from that trip with nothing was difficult, but they didn't give up and slowly but surely we've put some results together.

"In amongst all this the players we know can play have shown their form and one or two of the youngsters have improved enormously and that's got to be great for the club. If the players go out and perform as they have done in the last few months, win lose or draw I can't ask any more from any of them.

"
Some of our supporters have put their hands in their pockets which is a fantastic gesture. It's helped us be able to stay away on the Friday night and that's brilliant for us. We'll be doing the best we can to repay them with a result."
