Yeovil have signed ex-Southend forward Wayne Gray on a two-year deal, the striker currently being out-of-contract with the League One champions where he scored 20 goals in 56 starts. Gray started out life at Wimbledon, as they were in 2000, but never really made his mark at the club, having loan spells at Port Vale, Leyton Orient, Brighton and Swindon before joining Southend in the summer of 2004.

Meanwhile hometown-boy Andy Lindegaard has agreed terms on a new one-year contract with the Huish Park outfit, the 25-year old right-back having made 174 appearances for the Glovers since joining the club in 1999. In a tale of two Town goalkeepers, new Yeovil glovesman Steve Mildenhall has revealed that he turned down an offer from Bristol Rovers in order to link up with the Glovers after leaving Grimsby. On the out tray, Bristol City have finally agreed terms to sign current Yeovil keeper Chris Weale, and the 24-year old will move to Ashton Gate on the 1st of July.

Millwall have made another useful move into the transfer market, snapping up Scottish under-21 international striker Tom Brighton from Clyde. The 22-year-old, who scored nine goals in the Scottish First Division last season, started his career at Rangers and had a brief loan spell at Scunthorpe before moving to Broadwood last summer. Brighton joins the Lions on a two-year deal, although no fee is involved as he turned down a one-year contract offer at Clyde in order to ply his trade in South London. Bradford City boss Colin Todd has confirmed his interest in signing Middlesbrough winger Adam Johnson. The 18-year old played for the Teesiders in last season's friendly against Carlisle at Brunton Park and made three appearances for 'Boro in the UEFA Cup last term.

The good performances of centre-half Brent Sancho for Trinidad and Tobago at the World Cup has seen four or five clubs ringing up the Gillingham board to check on the status of the 29-year old. Sancho became the first Gills player ever to play against England in an international and Sancho's agent Mike Berry told BBC Radio Kent: "Gillingham and Paul Scally could do quite well in the summer. A few clubs have called me in the last few days to find out him." Crewe defender Nathaniel Kerr has signed his first ever professional contract with the Railwaymen, 18-year old centre-half Kerr having been at Gresty Road since 2002.

Swansea boss Kenny Jackett is keen to tie up Andy Robinson on a longer team deal, the midfielder still has another year left to run on his current contract but Jackett wants to extend that by another season. The 26-year old won the Player of the Year award at the Liberty Stadium in the last campaign and also scored 18 goals in all competitions, prompting Jackett to offer him an extended deal. Tranmere Rovers have released winger Sam Aiston and goalkeeper Steve Wilson, both players were signed by former manager Brian Little in July 2005 but are now surplus to requirements at Prenton Park under new boss Ronnie Moore. 29-year old ex-Shrewsbury man Aiston played 40 times for the club last season and scored twice, while the 32-year old Wilson made just 13 appearances for the League One side as he played second fiddle to regular Rovers number one John Achterberg and Luton-loanee Dino Seremet.
