Reserves League Round-Up This Week

Last updated : 20 January 2008 By Thetashkentterror
The recent spell of wet weather putting paid to the only other scheduled mathc at the Fraser Eagle Stadium between Accrington Stanley and Morecambe on Wednesday night. There were no such problems at the Deva Stadium on Monday afternoon though as Chester and Carlisle fought out a 1-1 draw, Danny Carlton's late equaliser for United cancelling out Craig Reid's first-half strike for City.

Next week there is a full round of fixtures in the division, although how many get played remains to be seen if the weather continues as it has done. Hopefully there should be no problems at Brunton Park with the new pitch and drainage work though and the game against Accrington Stanley at 7pm on Tuesday evening will go ahead. The match probably giving Carlisle fans their first chance of seeing new signings Evan Horwood and Grant Smith in action.
