The top-of-the-table Latics ended Preston's six game Pontin's winning streak as they came away from Irongate, the home of Bamber Bridge FC, with a 3-1 victory. Kelvin Lomax put the visitors ahead in the seventh minute with rookie striker Kallum Higginbotham, who was picked up from local junior football at the start of the season, bagging a brace to put the Latics 3-0 up with 79 minutes on the clock. North End's Liam Maloney grabbed an 89th minute consolation goal for the home side but it was Oldham who claimed all three points to solidfy their position at the head of the table.

Blackpool climbed up to second spot in the division as they won 2-1, thanks to a Matthew Blinkhorn brace, at home to Manchester City in a match played at Highbury, the home of Fleetwood Town FC. Bury's scheduled home game against Accrington Stanley at Radcliffe Borough FC was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch leaving the Shakers with seven second-string games left to play before the end of the season. United's next Pontin's League game is at home to table-topping Oldham this coming Wednesday in a 2pm kick-off at Brunton Park.
