"We went behind twice today and came back again. That has happened quite a lot recently but each time we have risen to the challenge and have kept that unbeaten streak going. If we can get ourselves in a run of games where we don't get beat then that is very good. It is something that we are fiercely protecting at the moment and I think we protected it well at times.
"We have had some tough tests recently and we have another one in (Nottingham) Forest soon, but I believe that we are passing tests. We are keeping this run going and are looking like a team that plays good football and scores goals, so if we can just address the other end, defensively, as a team, then I think that is the recipe for a lot of success this season.
"The first goal was a little fortunate. I rode a couple of tackles and there was a ricochet which broke in the box. The guy then went to ground and I thought I was going to get smashed but it broke nicely for me and it was just instinctive really. I just hit it and it went through the keeper a little bit so perhaps I am getting the rub of the green at the moment with the goalkeepers.
"It was a big point in the game when George (O'Callaghan) got sent off and it meant that we surrendered a lot of possession to them. Bas (Savage) dropped deeper and I was on my own - but I don't mind that as I have played that way before at different clubs.
"Torquay will be another tough test for us but it will be a welcome break from the league. It has been a busy period for us: seven games in 22 days is a tough run and I think we are looking forward to a week on the training ground and maybe even a day off!"
