United boss Neil McDonald spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey on Tuesday afternoon as he talked about the upcoming game against Rotherham this weekend where anything less than a win for the Millers could see them relegated :

" You would say that are almost relegated yes, it all depends on the other results, it certainly won't be our fault if they get relegated though. It's a full long season, they've played over 40-odd games and we have to be professional in ourselves that we need the three points. We have to be clinical in that if we do need to finish them off then we finish them off like we have done over the last four games. I think that if that means them being relegated then so be it.

" Even if we don't pick up maximum points against Rotherham, and people say we're out of it, well we've still got a big say because Swansea need the points to get into the play-offs. Bristol City are trying to get automatic promotion and if we can win them two games we might be back in it, you never know. It's not do or die on Saturday, it's vitally important that we win to keep the pressure on and it's vitally important that we at least pick a point up to keep our run going as well. We'll see how the next two games go after that. "
