New United loan signing Joe Anyinsah spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey on Saturday evening as he talked about the 1-1 draw against Bristol Rovers at Brunton Park :

" I was delighted to get on, the gaffer told me that I would get a chance today so I was really glad when he put me on. I just didn't want the game to end to be honest. It was a really good atmosphere because obviously recently I have been used to playing reserve football, so it was totally different coming here and playing first team games. I was really excited.

" The pitch was pretty dry when we were doing the warm-up, you found that when you were receiving the ball, if it bounced before you, it would just hold up and put you off your first touch. So I think that they have watered it slightly but maybe they have watered it a little bit too much, a few of the lads were slipping but obviously we'll correct our footwear next time maybe.

" It was really nice to be on the pitch when we scored, obviously the goal came in and we were pushing for that winner as well which was exciting. We were pretty unlucky not to get a winner as well because we had quite a lot of the possession.

" To be honest, I think that playing at home, we are looking to win games, especially - no disrespect to Bristol Rovers - but a team like this we should be really dominating I think. I don't think that we'll see it as two points dropped, obviously you've got to keep the spirits high, the point is a good point. I've trained with the lads on Friday which was nice, get to know them a little bit more this week and hopefully take on the Bournemouth game. "
