United defender David Raven spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey on Tuesday afternoon as he talked about how the season has gone, both for himself and the club as a whole :

" It's been a mixed bag to be honest with my injuries, especially as that has affected my form as well. I feel like I'm getting it back now again though and I'm feeling good now. I've struggled with injuries, and that affects your fitness and form, I've enjoyed it though and I've loved every minute of it.

" We still believe in ourselves and we know how good we are, but we're not putting too much pressure on ourselves either, so we're the underdogs if you like. The season has flown by, time goes too fast, I think it's been a good season for us and I think everyone around the club would say that. It's just the last games where we need to push on and get a few points and see where we end up.

" Everyone can't wait for next season, to see who the manager brings in and this and that, it's an exciting time and we can't wait. You just play every game as it comes to be honest, everyone looks forward to their holidays but we're footballers at the end of the day and we want to win every game. We haven't got one foot on the plane yet.

" It's been a strange league this season, everyone is beating each other. The hardest games are the teams that are scrapping down at the bottom because they are fighting for their lives. It's really hard to play against teams like that and Saturday is going to be another tough one, we're expecting a battle again. "
