Lee BradburyCherries boss Lee Bradbury spoke to his club's official website ahead of his side's League One match against Carlisle at Brunton Park tomorrow, Bradbury hoping for a win after Bournemouth lost 3-1 at home to Stevenage on Tuesday evening :

"Our strength has always been how we bounce back from a disappointment and that's what we aim to do. We need to be 100% at it and if we do that, we have a chance. It's good that we are having these games coming thick and fast and the lads are looking forward to the game. We have taken the positives out of Tuesday and in the way we performed in the previous two games as well. We will take the game to them and try to win because I believe we are at our best when we are on the front foot.

"The game at Carlisle last season was something of nothing. They only had one shot on target and they won the game and it was a game that drifted by and we will be looking to put that right. We want to go up there and give it a real good go and try to get the three points on the board away from home as soon as possible. We want to do it for all the supporters, especially those who are making the long trip to Brunton Park, and we really appreciate that."

Meanwhile Cherriers goalkeeper Daryl Flahavan commented to the Daily Echo on his previous Brunton Park experiences :

“It has been a good venue for me over the years so, hopefully, we can go there and get a positive result. It has been a bit up and down this season but we have got to take the positives. It didn’t happen for us against Stevenage but, prior to that, we had two good results. We have got to put Stevenage behind us and concentrate on Carlisle. We have had new players coming in and it takes time to gel. But we don’t want to use that as an excuse because you don’t really get time to gel these days. If we can replicate the performances from the two wins, I think we will be okay.”

In team news for the visitors tomorrow they will have quite a few absentees, with firstly experienced centre-half Adam Barrett missing on the back of a one-match ban having been sent off against Stevenage for deliberate handball. Elsewhere midfielders Joe Partington and Michael Symes are unavailable with respective hip and back problems and third-choice goalkeeper Dan Thomas has today joined Blue Square Bet South side Welling United on loan for a month. As for fully unconfirmed absentees, Bournemouth have another pair of problems with both pacey frontman Marc Pugh and central midfielder Steven Gregory rated as very doubtful having picked up knocks in the Stevenage defeat.

Finally comes news of striker Steve Lovell who has just this week returned to training following a niggling thigh strain which has meant he is yet to feature for the Cherries this season. Assistant boss Steve Fletcher saying to the Daily Echo about Lovell's situation :

“The subs and the boys that didn’t feature against Stevenage trained on Wednesday for a good 90 minutes. Steve joined in and did about three-quarters of the session. We are hoping to get a full session into him on Thursday. He has missed a couple of weeks so his fitness will not be up to scratch but, if he gets through Thursday, he will travel on Friday.

“We have got to be careful with him though. We don’t want him to keep breaking down and don’t want to push him back too soon. I know we need our big players fit and he is one of them. But he has got to be right. He will be honest with us and us with him. We will let him have the time he needs to recover. Bradders and myself both know that there is nothing worse than to be forced back when you aren’t right and being asked to play through injuries when you are not fully recovered can set you back two or three months.”

The referee for tomorrow's match is Jock Waugh from Sheffield and he will be assisted down the lines by Darren Handley from Bolton and Dave McCallum from Wallsend. Meanwhile the fourth official is Martin Coy from Darlington.
