FORM GUIDE

Rovers are without a win in five in all competitions with their last coming on Saturday, October 27 away at Exeter. They've gone three without scoring but are more potent on the road having scored 17 goals compared to nine at home in the league.

Carlisle have won three in a row in all competitions. They won their last home game against Newport County but hadn't won at home since August prior to that.

PREVIOUS MEETING

Carlisle 1-0 Forest Green - January 27 2018

Jamie Devitt scored the only goal of the game in the first half as Carlisle secured the double over Forest Green last season.

SNJ VERDICT

A game away from the New Lawn may have arrived at a good time for Rovers.

Forest Green have been more potent away from home. They were unbeaten at home until Arsenal Under 21s comfortably beat them at the start of the month and went on to lose their next two.

Carlisle have won their last three in all competitions so have hit form but Rovers tend to thrive against the better teams.

The onus will be on Carlisle to attack Rovers which should help them in their quest to end their mini goal drought.

It's a big game for Forest Green who will want to ensure the blip doesn't turn into a run.
