Match ON after Pitch Inspection

United's Nationwide Conference match at home to Stevenage this evening is ON, the pitch was inspected at 1.15pm following a hard frost in the Carlisle area but the match referee deemed that the pitch is suitable for play.

The news that the game will go ahead is good news for United who would have been faced with only one free Tuesday through to the end of the season if tonight's game had been postponed.

United will be missing their three most experienced players in the ex-Huddersfield trio Chris Billy, Tom Cowan and Kevin Gray through injury and desperately need a win to get their play-off hopes back on track.
